Sabrina Elba cut a glamorous figure as she stepped onto the Firebrand premiere red carpet during the 76th Cannes Film Festival on Sunday evening. 

The wife of actor Idris Elba, 34, looked sensational in the eye catching sheer dazzling backless gown which cascaded behind her as she posed for photos. 

The garment boasted a stunning jewelled high neckline and blue feathered detailing on the train. 

Sabrina elevated her frame in a pair of towering silver heels and accessorised with a pair of glittering earrings. 

She styled her long dark tresses in a neat low bun with feathers sticking out and left her block fringe to frame her face.

Sabrina made sure all eyes were on her during the solo appearance in the bold number as she posed for photos. 

She flashed her gorgeous smile as she made her way up the red carpet steps into the theatre. 

Firebrand, which was selected to compete for the award Palme d’Or at Cannes Film Festive, is a 2023 historical drama film by Karim Aïnouz.

The film is based on the 2013 novel Queen’s Gambit by Elizabeth Fremantle and focuses on Katherine Parr, the sixth and final wife of Henry VIII. 

The film stars Alicia Vikander, Jude Law, Sam Riley, Eddie Marsan, Simon Russell Beale, and Erin Doherty.

Sabrina’s appearance at Cannes Film Festival comes just days after she attended The Little Mermaid UK premiere in London earlier this week.

For the star-studded event, Sabrina showed off her figure in a plunging green gown with ruched detailing.

Sabrina – who attended without her actor husband Idris, 50 – posed up a storm in the figure-hugging frock which clung to her gorgeous curves.

Sporting a radiant palette of make-up, she wore her raven tresses in loose curls as they tumbled past her shoulders.

The Disney movie stars Halle Bailey as mermaid Ariel, as well as the likes of Melissa McCartney, Javier Bardem and Jacob Tremblay.

Sabrina and Idris met at a party in 2017 and wed in an extravagant ceremony two years later.

The Wire star admitted he fell in love ‘at first sight’ when he saw Sabrina and often talks about how the pair are inseparable.

Despite famously claiming he would never marry again, Idris made a public proposal to Sabrina at a film screening, before tying the knot in Marrakesh in 2019.
