Lewis Capaldi has been forced to reschedule his remaining European tour dates as he cancelled his Barcelona gig two hours before the show on Friday.
The singer, 26, was diagnosed with bronchitis after loosing his voice on stage earlier this week and said he was ‘f***ing gutted’ as he apologised to his fans.
Sharing a video to Twitter, Lewis promised to rearrange the gigs in Barcelona, Madrid, Stuttgart and Munich, as he tries to avoid permanent damage to his voice.
In the heart-felt clip, he explained: ‘I’m f***ing gutted to be making this video but unfortunately I’m going to have to be rescheduling the rest of my tour, that includes Barcelona tonight, Madrid tomorrow, and Stuttgart and Munich next week.
‘I got told at the start of this week that I and bronchitis after loosing my voice on stage and got sent home to Glasgow and had to reschedule Zurich and Milan.’

Lewis continued: ‘I went to another doctor in Glasgow and got medication and inhalers to try and help with the bronchitis, and I do feel a bit better, and I thought I was going to be ready for the show so I’ve flown out to Barcelona, I’m backstage just now.
‘During soundcheck, my voice was just giving in. So unfortunately, to prevent further damage, I’ve spoke with a doctor here and I’m going to have to just take a week to let this die down and heal properly rather than doing any permanent damage to my voice.
‘I’m really sorry about this, I shouldn’t be doing this, I feel like a dick, especially tonight in Barcelona since it’s so close to the show I wanted to give the update myself, so you know it’s coming from me and not someone on my management.’
He concluded: ‘I’m so so sorry we will get the dates rescheduled soon and I’ll see you all later.’
The singer also replied to messages from fans and added that he ‘felt terrible for letting everyone down especially so close to the show.’
Earlier this week, Lewis revealed he’s been struck down with bronchitis.
The singer had been left ‘absolutely devastated’ after he was forced to postpone two shows, in Zurich and Milan, due to his health.
He was told by a voice specialist he has bronchitis – an inflammation of the airways in the lungs usually caused by an infection – and would need vocal rest ‘for at least three days’.

A statement posted on his Twitter account read: ‘I’m absolutely devastated to be typing this.’
‘As lots of you know for the past few nights of the tour I’ve been really struggling with my voice, last night in Stockholm I tried my best to sing through the show even with it feeling really uncomfortable because I was desperate not to let any of you down.
‘I’ve just been to see a voice specialist in Sweden who’s told me I’ve got bronchitis and that I should be on vocal rest for at least three days to give me any chance of not damaging my voice and being able to continue touring.’

But Lewis had some positive news for fans who were due to attend his Zurich and Milan world tour gigs – which were due to take place on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively – revealing he has already rescheduled them.
The star’s Zurich show will now be on June 28th, and his Milan gig will be on May 31st, with all original tickets still valid.
At the time, Lewis signed off by reassuring fans he will rest as much as he can to ensure he was ok for his show in Barcelona.
He added: ‘Hate letting you all down and this is the last thing I want to be writing. Going to be doing everything I can with rest and medication to be ready for Barcelona onwards.’
