Jenna Coleman, Riley Keough and Margaret Qualley were among the stars arriving for the Chanel Paris Fashion Week show on Tuesday, after a week of unrest in the city.
The designer brand has decided to press ahead with the Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2023/2024 showcase despite Paris being rocked by six nights of protests after a 17-year-old boy was shot dead at point-blank range by a policeman during a traffic stop.
The actress, 37, cut a chic figure in a pale pink striped midi dress which was embroidered with the iconic double C motif, while Riley, 34, opted for a sparkly jumpsuit and Margaret, 28 put on a leggy display in a white minidress and loafers.
Former Doctor Who star Jenna complemented the look with some white sunglasses and silver slingback heels.

They were was joined by Phoebe Tonkin and Camilla Morrone on the front row as models took to the outdoor catwalk.
Camila, 26, who is Leonardo DiCaprio’s ex-girlfriend, was pictured arriving for the show in a sparkly knitted co-ord and leather chunky boots, while Phoebe opted for sparkly trousers and a black waistcoat.
Actress Clemence Poesy also showed off her style in a red criss-cross patterned cardigan and miniskirt.
Vanessa Paradis, 50, was pictured arriving in a black patterned jumpsuit and gold boots.
Chanel creative director Virginie Viard designed the collection with models stepping out in boucle co-ords and floral dresses.
Paris Fashion Haute Couture Week kicked off on Monday, but the city has been rocked by six nights of protests after Nahel M was shot dead in a Parisian suburb on Tuesday.
Celine cancelled their menswear show – which was outside the official calendar – on Sunday due to the chaos as shops were looted, cars were set on fire and fights broke out in the street.
Celine designer Hedi Slimane said it was ‘inconsiderate’ to hold a fashion show when Paris was ‘bereaved and bruised’.

Thousands have been arrested since the protests began, with some 45,000 officers deployed across the country to try and quell the unrest.
Sunday night saw the intensity of the protests abate somewhat, with the grandmother of teen shooting victim Nahel M. appealing to citizens to demonstrate peacefully and stop the violence.
But tensions remain fraught, particularly in the suburbs of cities like Paris, Marseille and Lyon.
For now, the French government has refrained from declaring a state of emergency, though Macron delayed what would have been the first state visit to Germany by a French president in 23 years yesterday, highlighting the seriousness of the situation.
While French authorities decline to implement extreme measures to calm protests, the FCDO has not officially discouraged travel to France.
