The singer announced the new dates in July, months after leaving fans thousands of pounds out of pocket when she pulled the plug on her shows with just 24 hours notice in January.
She is reportedly reducing her orchestra, singer choir and backing singers while still putting together a show-stopping production.
A source told The Sun: ‘Adele has revised her plan for the show has stripped it back. The production will be very classy, the show is centred on her energy and vocals.
‘The January shows had room for a significant orchestra and band along with a 60 piece choir. The feel was big, grand and immensely theatrical.
‘Now she wants it to be more intimate and to connect to the audience by being in with them during the performance.’
The insider added that the production still features ‘dazzling events and stunning backdrops’.
Intimate: Adele is reportedly stripping back her rescheduled Las Vegas residency to connect more with her fans
Adele had been set to open her Weekends with Adele show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace back in January but cancelled at the very last minute, leaving fans devastated over wasted money on flights and hotels.
After rescheduled dates for the gig were leaked, the singer took to Instagram in July to confirm the show will start in November as she thanked fans for their ‘patience’ and revealed that priority will be given to existing ticket holders.
Alongside a show poster she penned: ‘Words can’t explain how ecstatic I am to finally be able to announce these rescheduled shows. I truly was heartbroken to have to cancel them.
‘But after what feels like an eternity of figuring out logistics for the show that I really want to deliver, and knowing it can happen, I’m more excited than ever!

‘Now I know for some of you it was a horrible decision on my part, and I will always be sorry for that, but I promise you it was the right one.
‘To be with you in such an intimate space every week has been what I’ve most been looking forward to and I’m going to give you the absolute best of me.
‘Thank you for your patience, I love you Adele.’
Back in January, the Grammy Award winning songstress wept as she explained to fans that she had ‘tried everything’ to get her show up and running but Covid had ‘destroyed’ everything.
She said in a video shared to her social media channels: ‘I’m so sorry, but my show ain’t ready.
‘We’ve tried absolutely everything we can to put it together in time and for it to be good enough for you, but we’ve been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and Covid.
‘Half my crew and team are [ill] with Covid and still are, and it’s been impossible.’
