‘We’ve cried a lot, we’ve barely slept, and we’ve discussed the worst… but we’ve carried each other through possibly one of the most traumatic weeks of our lives..

‘You never think it would be your baby and honestly I can’t explain how awful it is having to leave your poorly baby behind in a hospital and go home and just be ‘mummy’ to your other children when inside your heart is breaking.’

She added that she was lucky to have Jordan to support her and do alternate nights at the hospital so that one parent could look after the other ow kids.

Naomi penned that it has been ‘tough but she had done the best for their babies and that all she wants now is for her family to be back together ‘where they belong’.

She went on: ‘We are over 5 days in and we finally have a stable temperature. Things are looking positive for Tre Tre and we are finally seeing an improvement.

‘Our super brave strong boy has had all sorts of blood tests, a lumber puncture and constant prodding and poking this week but there’s finally light at the end of the tunnel and we cannot wait to get him home where he belongs.

‘We still don’t really have answers and it’s another week ahead of antibiotics but he’s on the right path and we are just keeping positive.’

She then shared a list of the symptoms that he had experienced so that other parents could spot the signs.

Jordan later shared his own update, saying the last few days had been ‘scary’ but he was relieved to see Atreus on the mend again.

He wrote: ‘Been a scary few days, but Atreus is a little trooper❤ Glad to be back on positive ground after all that, seeing your baby hooked up to all sorts of cables and machines, hearing words like sepsis and meningitis is never going to be easy but want to say a huge thank you to The Neptune Ward at Southend Hospital who were so incredible with us, you’re the best.’

At the end of April the couple welcomed their third child as the I’m A Celeb star took to Instagram with a sweet post to share the joyous news.

Announcing his son’s name, Jordan gushed: ‘Atreus Funso Banjo 20.04.2023 8lb 8oz. I’m so proud of you @naomibanjo, my angel, my wife and the most incredible mum to our children, thank you for our 3 beautiful children, a gift I can never repay, I love you.’

Jordan proudly shared a black and white photo of Naomi cradling little Atreus after the birth before the couple both posted a sweet video.

The video showed Naomi showing off her bump before they headed to hospital for her caesarean birth.

The couple’s two older children were then seen excitedly seen meeting their baby brother in the adorable footage captioned ‘Hello world.’

The couple’s pregnancy announcement came shortly after Jordan revealed that he had undergone a vasectomy by posting a light-hearted video of himself hobbling back to his car after the procedure.

Before Atreus Naomi revealed her worry over potentially having to have another C-section when she gave birth.

She took to her Instagram to discuss her worries after a trip to the hospital – and said her last surgery, where she welcomed Mimi via C-section, ‘triggered a lot of trauma’.

In her post she told how she felt ‘vulnerable and exposed’ after the procedure with her last child – and ended up getting very ill with sepsis due to ‘shocking after care’ at the hospital.

She penned: ‘Sorry guys I was in the hospital most of yesterday having my scan and a long appointment regarding my birth.

‘Tbh I feel drained and it’s left me so unsure of what to do now considering all the risks. I didn’t have a great time with my c section with Mimi and it’s really freaked me out so was hoping to avoid and have another V birth but now I’m not so sure.

‘Do I have any specialists on here in VBAC’s? VBAC Doulas? Private midwives etc? I don’t have a personal midwife at this hospital like I had with the other 2 so I feel so lost and I don’t know who to talk to.

‘But I’m really doubting myself and the thought of another C-section is giving me really bad anxiety.’

The couple announced they were expecting their third child together in October,  two months after they tied the knot.

Taking to Instagram, the Diversity dancer shared an adorable shot with Naomi outside their home as their children Cassius and Mimi cradled her baby bump.

He captioned the shot:  ‘TRICK OR TREAT! We’re expecting 2 (more) tiny little feet! baby number 3 due April 2023.’

The dancer also shared a sweet selfie of the pair holding their sonogram picture as he penned: ‘The Banjo Family is growing even more❤ Baby number 3 on the way.’

The pair were immediately flooded with messages from their celebrity pals, with the likes of Oti Mabuse, Helen Flanagan and Danielle Armstrong passing on their congratulations.

It came after the couple tied the knot in August, a year later than planned due to the pandemic.

Jordan announced his engagement to mother-of-two Naomi in January 2020 when he proposed during a trip to the Maldives after almost five years together.

Speaking to The Sun he said: ‘Nay loves the idea of Mimi being a little flower girl and Cas being a page boy.

‘It will be really nice to have them at the wedding because not everyone has children at the wedding, they normally come after. I’m super excited.

‘Everyone in Diversity had kids after they got married, we did that the other way round.’
