Britain’s Got Talent returned for its second episode of the 2023 series on Sunday night.
And viewers were treated to an abundance of entertaining acts as judges Simon Cowell, 63, Amanda Holden, 52, Alesha Dixon, 44, and newcomer Bruno Tonioli, 67, decided who to take through to the next round of the competition.
The second instalment saw head judge Simon select his Golden Buzzer auditionee – choirboy Malakai Bayoh, 13 – with the singer moving the panel to tears while fans at home took to social media to demand he win the £250,000 prize and take to the stage in front of King Charles and Queen Camilla at the Royal Variety Performance later this year.
Elsewhere, a Latin dance duo delighted viewers as one of the pair, Nathan – a 24-year-old dancer with Down’s Syndrome – gave Alesha a sarcastic side-eye when she surprised him with a visit to ask if he’d like to appear on the show before he went on to have a ‘sassy’ exchange with former Strictly Come Dancing critic Bruno.

HOSTS ANT AND DEC JOIN THE JUDGES ON CORONATION STREET
Britain’s Got Talent viewers were left ‘obsessed’ by the show’s Coronation Street themed intro on Sunday.
While filming in Manchester hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly lost the judges as they explored the soap’s famous set.
Bumping into a whole host of famous faces they later found Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli at Roy’s Rolls cafe.
Racing to Twitter one viewer jokingly asked if Weatherfield’s serial killer Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) will choose one of the judges as his next victim.
While another viewer, loving the hysterical sketch, wrote: ‘That Corrie sketch was brilliant!’.

The sketch saw the presenters wondering around the cobbles as Dec admitted he was tracking Simon Cowell‘s phone.
The duo bumped into Corrie’s Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) who looked rather shocked, Ant said: ‘Ant McPartlin, former rapper, current TV host and two time rear of the year award.’
Dec quickly butted in to say he was only ‘runner-up’ but Sally didn’t seem to take much notice as she told him he was ‘standing on her foot’ and walked off.
The clip cut to judges Simon, Amanda, Alesha and Bruno sat around a small square table at Roy’s Rolls cafe.
Dressed in their finery, Amanda looked incredible in a bold red figure hugging dress and pulled her long blonde tresses up in a neat high ponytail.
Alesha stunned in a pink number and slicked her dark locks back into a stylish up-do, while Bruno cut a dapper figure in a black leather jacket.

Meanwhile, Simon rocked his usual round neck dark jumper as he ordered his ‘usual’ with Shona Platt (Julia Goulding) behind the counter.
Shona later brought over a plate of toast and spaghetti letters with just the letters ‘BGT’, Simon said: ‘Just how I like it.’
Meanwhile, Ant and Dec were spotted outside the famous Rovers Return Inn as they bumped into Kirk Sutherland (Andy Whyment) exiting.
The pair asked if the ‘BGT judges were inside’ but Kirk looked shocked and replied: ‘Are you having a laugh next you’d be telling me Ant and Dec are coming.
‘And anyway where are your parents, children shouldn’t be hanging around the pub.’
The ITV presenters continued to walk around the cobbles and and spotted ‘Simon Cowell’s Rolls Royce outside Roy’s Rolls’, and laughed to themselves over the tongue twister.

Looking serious, he said: ‘I didn’t like it, I loved it.’
Just as Ant and Dec burst through the door of the cafe finding Simon, Amanda, Alesha and Bruno they told them: ‘We are late for auditions, lets go, go, go!’
Still sitting and enjoying their food, Bruno joked: ‘They are very bossy, I love it.’

A children’s singing and dancing group burst into tears on Sunday night’s episode of Britain’s Got Talent after getting thought to the next round.
The Pixiebelles received four yeses after they performed their rendition of Be Our Guest from Beauty and the Beast.
The boys and girls from Manchester, were aged six to nine, and dressed as characters out of the popular Disney film.
They performed an incredible routine and the judges were blown away, with new judge Bruno Tonioli saying: ‘That’s a yes!’
All the judges sent them through to the next round and the kids all became emotional as they excitedly celebrated.

Britain’s Got Talent has been struck by accusations of fixing after a pair of performers revealed they also had appeared on the franchise’s American version.
Japanese duo Toy Toy impressed the judging panel with their incredible skill as they performed tricks in total synchronicity.
But before showcasing their talent to the Manchester audience Shu Takada asked ‘Simon do you remember me?’ following his appearance on American’s Got Talent as a solo entrant.

Britain’s Got Talent viewers became instant fans of Nathan – a 24-year-old ballroom dancer with Down’s Syndrome – as he took to the stage to audition on Sunday night.
The auditionee, 24, performed a routine as part of a Latin duo with his dance partner Joanne, 28, to Shakira‘s 2016 song Try Everything.
And fans of the show were just as delighted with his sassy personality as they were with his audition as his moment unfolded on screen.
Before arriving for his audition in Manchester, Nathan and Joanne were visited by judge Alesha Dixon who told him he had been nominated for the show by his dance teacher, prompting him to give Alesha some sarcastic side-eye when she asked if he was willing to appear on the show.
Stepping out onto stage for his audition in a black shirt adorned with sparkling crystals and matching trousers, Nathan informed the judges he would be performing the Cha Cha Cha, prompting new panellist Bruno Tonioli to declare: ‘Yes, darling!’ before a cheeky exchange between the pair followed.
