Sir Paul McCartney donned his swimming trunks and took a dip in the Caribbean sea with his wife Nancy in St Barts on Friday. 

The legendary singer, 80, was having the time of his life as he soaked up some sun with his love, 63. 

He could be seen wearing a long sleeved Nike rash vest to protect him from the UV rays while frolicking on the beach. 

Paul added a pair of blue shorts with an outdoor scenic print and took to the sea to play a game with Nancy. 

His wife wore a colourful patterned swimsuit with a pair of black shorts and pulled her brunette hair back into a practical bun.

Last year, Paul revealed that his signature dance moves were responsible for his lasting romance with his businesswoman wife Nancy. 

Writing in his book, The Lyrics, Sir Paul, the Beatles star explained how he knew Nancy was a keeper when she matched his energy on the dancefloor. 

Paul, who has previously married to Linda McCartney and Heather Mills, wrote: ‘There’s no denying it, I really enjoy dancing.

‘It’s something my wife Nancy and I are particularly keen on. 

‘After a show, when the band and crew get together for a drink, we’re always the first ones on the dancefloor. Certain songs will just get you dancing.’ 

Paul coupled up with Nancy when the pair were on holiday in Morocco with his brother Mike and the musician serenaded her on the hotel’s piano. 

The Beatles star detailed how they weren’t yet officially a couple and were sleeping in separate bedrooms when he made his move. 

Paul explained: ‘The piano was sitting in the foyer all day long, and because the rain would not stop, I sometimes went and just noodled on the keys.’

‘I was thinking all sorts of loving thoughts towards Nancy, and while I was at the piano, I could see that the waiters who were clearing up were listening. 

‘But it was nice and romantic, it was a perfect moment, and I thought to myself, we’re not going to stay in separate rooms tonight.’ 

Paul and Nancy were later wed in 2011 at a London Register Office after he admitted he had already ‘fallen in love with my lady’ before they were official. 

He added in his book: ‘If you had to say one word about her, it’s that she’s real.

‘I have a beautiful picture of when we went to the White House. It’s of Nancy and me talking to Barack and Michelle Obama, and we’re laughing at something the president said. 

‘Nancy is paying such attention. She’s a great person. She’s multifaceted.’

Paul’s book features 154 songs from all stages of his career, spanning across the Beatles, Wings and as a solo artist. 

It features song lyrics from titles such as Hey Jude, Blackbird, Penny Lane, Band On The Run, Live And Let Die and more.

David sat at the front of the group looking smart in a checked suit, shirt, tie and matching hat.
