Stacey Solomon reveals she was forced to go ‘naked in her car after breastfeeding blunder

Stacey Solomon was forced to go’ naked from the boob down’ in her car during a breastfeeding blunder on Thursday. 

The TV personality, 33, who welcomed her fifth child last month, said she thought she ‘looked really good’ in the jumper dress but ‘didn’t think’ about feeding. 

Luckily she was able to laugh off her mistake and added that her husband Joe Swash was ‘on look out duty.’

Sharing a funny clip to her Instagram Story, Stacey admitted she ‘didn’t know what she was thinking’ when she got ready as she was forced to ‘get her hairy legs out.’

She began: ‘I’m sat outside toddler dancing class, naked from the boob down because you can’t breastfeed in a jumper dress.’

Stacey continued: ‘I don’t know what I was thinking when I got ready this morning! 

‘Not one brain cell in my head went: “You’re not going to be able to feed in that” I just put it on and thought, “You look really good!”‘

‘Belle won’t wait, she was already losing it when we got in the car so I thought, “I’m just gonna have to feed her and hope that none of the mums come over and look in.”‘

‘Top half I look fine, I can wave from a distance but the bottom half, if they look down they will see my hairy legs under the steering wheel!’

She later penned: ‘PSA – don’t wear a jumper dress if you want to breastfeed with dignity… Luckily Joe met us for music class so he’s outside on lookout duty.’

Stacey welcomed her fifth child a month ago, and has been honest about her struggle with the daily juggle.

But on Monday the star admitted she was feeling proud of herself after tackling a busy Monday by herself with her five children.

Stacey shared a series of sweet photos of herself with her three youngest children, baby Belle, one month, Rose, 17 months and Rex, three after a busy day of school runs, swimming lessons and baby groups.

‘Proud.  Feeling like I smashed it today. Don’t mind if I sound big headed but I felt like a superhuman today,’ a beaming Stacey wrote.

She explained how she hasn’t been feeling her best in recent weeks, writing ‘For some reason lately I’ve found it easy to tell myself that I’m failing or doing a rubbish job & I never tell myself how well I’m doing.’

She decided to switch her mindset and share her achievements as she admitted ‘three 3 & under & two teenagers is wonderful but it’s not easy.’

Stacey explained how her day got off to a good start as her husband Joe Swash took over one of the night feeds for baby Belle before he headed off for work.

‘We did the school runs and then afterwards I managed to make it for the first time EVER to Rhyme time at the library with Rex, Rose & Belle,’ Stacey continued.

‘Spent some time with other mum’s & felt so nice to see Rex & Belle enjoying being out of the house.  Then we stayed out as long as we could, came home, played play dough shops did tuna pasta dinner & this evening was swimming lesson for Rexy.’

‘Now we are home & I’m ready to collapse on the sofa & start the cluster feeds.’

‘Sorry for the essay. but basically Just a little reminder that you’re doing amazing, even when you feel like you’re not. You’re so incredible don’t forget to tell yourself that sometimes.’

On her Stories Stacey shared more sweet family snaps as she fed and cuddled Belle, who looked sweet in a hand knitted cardigan.

Last week Stacey admitted she feels ‘absolutely f****d 100 per cent of the time’. 

The TV personality shared advice to other mothers on her Instagram story on Wednesday afternoon, reassuring them that they are doing an ‘incredible job’. 

Baby Belle was born in February after the Loose Women panellist and partner Joe Swash, 41, announced the surprise pregnancy in December.
