Jamie Dornan has spent a cool £1million on a new pad in Portugal.
The Fifty Shades of Grey star, 40, sparked speculation he had relocated abroad with his family after he was spotted buying fruit and veg earlier this month in a small village in the south of the country.
We can now reveal Jamie and his wife Amelia Warner have snapped up a six-bed former guesthouse complete with a swimming pool.
Public property records obtained by MailOnline show the couple purchased the property last September at a public notary in the Portuguese capital.
The house, formerly owned by a Spanish woman and run as a luxury country hotel, fringed by pine forest and sand dunes.

It was described by its ex-owner as ‘one of Portugal’s best-kept secrets’ when it was still run as a guesthouse before the once-successful business was affected by the coronavirus lockdown.
Previous guests have branded it an ‘outstanding place full of tranquility and comfort’, in a selection of online reviews for the property.
It is not immediately clear if Jamie, who earned worldwide fame with his portrayal of Christian Grey, is planning to make his new place near the Atlantic his main family home with singer-songwriter Amelia and their three daughters.
Sources told Mail Online the property they purchased is no longer on a national holiday accommodation register.
The actor and his partner, who has bought in her married name of Dornan, are thought to have ploughed part of the windfall they made from the sale of their Cotswold home last year into their new place abroad.
They reportedly sold their eight-bedroom pad near Stroud for £5million, sparking questions at the time about where they had moved to.
The couple are understood to have given an address in south-west London, near to where Jamie was spotted working out at a gym last October, as their main residence when they did the deal on their Portuguese property.

Rui Baptista, an ex-contestant on Portugal’s Big Brother, was the first to link the actor to the area after bumping into him while he shopped for coffee in the village on Valentine’s Day.
The film buff posted a selfie of him with Jamie, casually dressed in a sweater and shorts, and wrote: ‘When you go to the grocery store next door and find out who your new neighbour is. Thanks Jamie.’
Rui added about his experience on his YouTube channel Espaco Cult: ‘Jamie’s a very nice person and very approachable.
‘I had left home to shop in a tiny grocer’s and noticed him crouched down next to me as I reached up for coffee.
‘I recognised him straight away and he saw I had. As politely as possible and striving not to make him feel uncomfortable, I told him in English I couldn’t believe I had met him in this tiny store.’

Recalling how Jamie, who stars in the upcoming Kenneth Branagh-directed American mystery film A Haunting in Venice, had agreed to pose for a photo after their unexpected meeting, Rui added: ‘He left the bag with his shopping on the ground.
‘We had to interrupt the first photo we tried to take because a driver who was moving his car out of a parking space behind us was running over the bag and Jamie was about to be left without his shopping.’
The actor shared a rare family photo last March on Instagram to celebrate International Women’s Day.
He posted a snap of his loved ones, including his wife, 40, and three daughters Dulcie, nine, Elva, seven, and Alberta, four, as they crossed the road.
He captioned his post: ‘I’m nothing but a pile of dust without this crew. #internatinalwomensday.’
Jamie has previously described fatherhood as the most important role in his life, revealing in a Sunday Times interview: ‘When I’m at home all I am is a husband and father and that is all encompassing. It’s the role I take most seriously in life.’
He was trapped in quarantine in Australia ahead of filming The Tourist in Australia while his father Jim died of Covid on the other side of the world.

Instagram: Amelia, who used to date Hollywood star Colin Farrell, dropped a heavy hint she was in Portugal as well earlier this month by posting a picture of a beach with a boat called Boa Esperanca – English for Good Hope – in the foreground
Travel and quarantine restrictions meant he was unable to fly back to his native Northern Ireland and he went on to describe 2021 as the ‘worst and hardest’ year of his life.

A local living near to the new place the British couple have purchased told Mail Online last night: ‘It stood empty for over a year before it sold.
‘It was doing very well when the previous owners were renting out rooms to different holidaymakers but with the onset of Covid they ended up having to try to rent the whole place to single groups.
‘It pushed the price right up and no-one was ever booking.’
