The British and Irish stars who have received a nod ahead of the 95th Academy Awards which will air later this year have been unveiled.
Colin Farrell, Paul Mescal, Bill Nighy and Andrea Riseborough all received a nomination in the Best Actor and Actress categories during the live nominations.
The nominations were announced by Riz Ahmed and Allison Williams ahead of the 95th Academy Awards, which will take place on Sunday March 12.

Brit Andrea is a late addition to the Best Actress category for her performance in To Leslie, with buzz surrounding her role growing over the past two weeks.
Her place in the nominations was campaigned for by Hollywood heavyweights including Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and Charlize Theron.
Despite his lengthy career which took off in the nineties, this is the first time that English actor Bill, 73, has received an Oscar nod.

The role Bill has been nominated for is veteran civil servant Mr. Rodney Williams, who is inspired to make the rest of his life as interesting and enjoyable as possible
The occasion also marks the most nominations Ireland has ever received, with Paul and Colin leading the way with their Best Actor nods.
The best actor nomination continues Colin’s successful awards season run, having been nominated for both a Critics Choice and Screen Actors Guild gong for his performance in The Banshees Of Inisherin.

The Irish star appears opposite long-time friend and colleague Gleeson in McDonagh’s dark comedy – which is set on a remote island off the coast of Ireland.
It is also Normal People star Mescal’s first Oscar nod, for his role in coming-of-age drama Aftersun.
He issued a statement after the news, saying: ‘“This is truly a special moment for everyone involved in Aftersun.
‘To be recognised by the Academy is such an insane honour and I’m so utterly grateful.
‘I want to dedicate this nomination to my two friends Charlotte and Frankie who I love dearly! This is bananas, thank you!’
Other Irish stars who have received a nomination include Kerry Condon, Brendan Gleeson, Barry Keoghan and Martin McDonagh.
The Banshees of Inisherin writer-director Martin is nominated across three categories for Best Picture, Best Director and Best Original Screenplay.
Kerry has received a nomination for her role in Best Supporting Actress while Brendan and Barry are up for Best Supporting Actor.

Andrea joined frontrunners Cate Blanchett and Michelle Yeoh in the best actress category, following her grassroots awards season campaign.
Cate and Michelle, who have both been recognised previously, earned nominations for Tar and Everything Everywhere All At Once, respectively.
Michelle was also nominated for best actress, following a campaign to recognise her acclaimed performance as Mitzi, the piano-playing mother in Steven Spielberg’s The Fabelmans, rather than as a best supporting role.
The star-studded Oscars ceremony, due to be hosted by US talk show host and comedian Jimmy Kimmel, will take place on March 12 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
Host Riz took home the Oscar for best live action short film in 2022 for The Long Goodbye, where he was the co-writer, producer and star.
Meanwhile, Allison most recently starred in and executively produced the sci-fi horror M3GAN, which is already slated for a sequel.
The nomination presentation took place at the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater and aired live on Good Morning America and ABC News Live.
For those across the globe, they were able to tune into by streaming on Oscar.com and Oscar.org, as well as the Academy’s socials.
This year the Oscars will be hosted by chat show host Jimmy Kimmel at the iconic Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood.
It will mark Jimmy’s third outing as the Academy Award’s host, having hosted the Oscars in both 2017 and 2018.
Oscar buzz has surrounded the the top contenders for Best Picture, which ahead of the nods were The Banshees of Inisherin, Elvis, Everything Everywhere All at Once, The Fabelmans, Tár, and ‘Top Gun: Maverick.
