Zara McDermott‘s glamorous holiday in Barbados has taken a turn after her boyfriend Sam Thompson fell unwell and was left needing an injection in his behind.
The former Love Islander, 26, has showcased her lavish winter holiday to the Caribbean in glamorous Instagram photos to her 1.7million followers.
Despite Sam’s illness during the trip, he soldiered on and still managed to get out of his hotel room and be her personal photographer and snapped away while she posed on the beach.

Looking serious as he got the job done, Sam held his girlfriend’s phone up at various angles while she posed up a storm on the sands of Bridgetown, Barbados.
Zara shared some of the successful shots to her Instagram page, where she also divulged that Sam was feeling under the weather and had to get a ‘butt injection’.
And she posted a rather revealing picture of her Made In Chelsea star boyfriend, 30, as he lay face down on the bed while someone injects his bottom with medicine.
Writing to her fans, Zara said: ‘Barbados day 1!!! checked into THE most beautiful hotel ever, walked along the beach and tucked into some delicious pancakes.

‘Sadly, Sam can’t say the same… he ate a dodgy Nandos at the airport yesterday and has been paying the price ever since and, like any good girlfriend would, I called the doctor out and took photos of him in a compromising position getting a butt injection.
‘He started to feel better so I asked him if he’d take some pics of me in my new dress… he said yes and then conveniently failed to mention that my lovely m&s knickers were on FULL SHOW.
‘I wondered why I was getting some funny looks up and down the beach. I had no idea (last slide… fml) never a dull moment.’

She went barefoot for the sunny snapshots of her time away, donning a natural palette of makeup to let her holiday glow shine through.
Sam kept comfortable in a pair of blue Crocs, which matched his blue beach shorts.
He slipped into a grey tie-die t-shirt which read the word ‘kisses’, and he followed his girlfriend as she stepped back and forth from looking at the pictures and posing for new ones.

He captioned it: ‘Day 1 of 5 in Barbados… stomach bug… I blame the morning airport Nandos.’
Earlier this week, fans of Sam Thompson’s were desperately asking for him to propose to his girlfriend Zara McDermott and are convinced it will happen soon, after he shared a sweet video to wish her a happy birthday on Wednesday.

And the reality star’s devotees were quick to take to the comments section of his post, with many encouraging him to take his relationship with Zara to the next level, instructing him: ‘Put a ring on it!’
