Demanding to know the secret of her youthful appearance, one person asked: ‘Please can someone tell me Michelle Gayle’s secret because she looks INSANE! How did we all get older whilst she stayed 21?! #ThisMorning.’
On looking good and staying in shape, Michelle told The Mirror in 2019: ‘I’m not one of these clean-eating people. I’d never starve myself, I cannot bear to be hungry. I just try to eat sensibly.
‘Hitting 50 doesn’t bother me at the moment. Being 48 is tricky with casting. I think the industry has improved. I think it used to be that you had to be under 30 as a woman to be a lead.

Michelle isn’t keen on plastic surgery, and when asked if she’d ever have it done insisted: ‘No way. My younger friends are having Botox and it cracks me up. No one needs Botox. It’s a social condition.
‘Everyone has insecurities. I hate my legs, they are huge. I look in the mirror and go, ”Woah.” But I don’t care enough to make it an issue. I don’t make the way I look the most important part of my life.’
However Michelle admitted that she will decline invitations to events because of the pressure to look good. confessing: ‘It gives me anxiety enough to say I’m not going.’

In addition to her stellar acting career on stage and screen, Michelle is also an incredible talented R&B singer/songwriter.
The Brit Award-nominated star achieve a whopping seven top 40 singles in the UK Singles Chart during her 90s hey day.
Michelle was married to ex-professional footballer Mark Bright for ten years. The couple shares a son, Isaiah, 22, together. The pair divorced on April 18, 2008.
Michelle – who previously came second in Eurovision Your Decision back in 2008 – went on to welcomed her second child son, Luke, now 11, in November 2011.
She is married to second husband, entrepreneur Tony Lynch.
